Now In:Workarounds of the Dell laptop AC adapter not recognized error

Today we recieved another email from our customer who is asking help with the "AC Adapter not recognized" error with Her dell laptop ac adapter. ( the cause of this error can be find here). She purchased a replacement ac adapter from us, but is asking if there any workarounds for her to be able to use her laptop while waiting for her order to arrive. Well, there are few things you can try for those of you who is having the same problem. 1) Try plug and unplug, some time it will get regonized 2) Do not plug the ac adapter first, boot up using battery, after the system going the OS loading process, then plug the ac adapter 3) Start laptop as normally with AC supply, after complete booting of system, turn off AC plug, just press the cable (coming from adapter) towards the adapter (with normal force) and Turn On AC. If all above doesn't work, then you are out of luck. Just make sure that when you purchase the replacement adapter, you are getting the 90W PA-10 ac adapter family, not the PA-12 ac adapter family, which is a 65W adapter. Most Dell laptop can use either 65W and 90W adapters, but the newer ones which using more power need the 90W, so just purchase the 90W to be safe.
